First Responders to be Honored at Annual Blue Mass

First Responders to be Honored at
Annual Blue Mass 

MANCHESTER, NH, September 25, 2023 – The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, invites police officers, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, dispatchers, and their families to the annual Blue Mass. It will be held Sunday, October 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Cathedral, located on the corner of Pine and Lowell Streets in Manchester.  

The City of Manchester will have a police cruiser and fire truck parked outside the Cathedral in honor of the event.

“This Mass is a wonderful way to demonstrate the Diocese of Manchester’s support and gratitude for the selfless work of our first responders, and to offer our prayers for their ongoing safety as they serve our community,” said Gloria Zapiain, Cabinet Secretary for Catholic Formation.
