Social Studies Substitute Teacher

Seeking a long-term Social Studies substitute teacher for the second semester, beginning in the middle of January and ending in mid-June. The position will consist of preparing and teaching five classes that include multiple sections of Modern United States History covering Post-Civil War to current day and one section of Psychology. Teachers with experience in these subject areas are preferable.

Cheerleading Coach
Nashua Catholic Regional Jr. High School, Nashua, NH

Nashua Catholic Regional Jr. High School is seeking a Cheerleading Coach. The Cheerleading Coach will be responsible for leading the cheer program and will coordinate, and run practices as well as supervise team at home games. This is a paid, stipend position.

Start Date: Monday, October 30, 2017

Qualifications:

Knowledge of technique and fundamentals of Cheerleading

Ability to work with youth athletes, ages 10-13

Establish, and maintain a standard of professionalism with parents, and athletes.

Must be knowledgeable, and skilled to coach tumbling, and stunting to ensure the success, and safety of all program participants

Part-Time Teacher Aide for the Pre-Kindergarten Classroom

St. Thomas Aquinas School is seeking a part-time teacher aide for the Pre-Kindergarten Classroom – 2 days per week 12 – 15 hours. Candidates must have experience in early childhood education and working with young children. An early childhood background / certification is preferred.

The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Aide will provide assistance to the classroom teacher and in small groups. The teacher aide will be able to prepare lesson materials, support the classroom teacher in the implementation of established curriculum. The aide will supervise children and ensure a safe environment including the ability to respond to events in the classroom and outdoor play area.

Grades 7-12 Science & Math Teacher

We are seeking a mission-driven Science/Mathematics Teacher who is a practicing Catholic, has a passion for excellence in education, and is called to work with young people in grades 7-12. The position includes teaching Biology (9th), Chemistry (10th) and Algebra 2 (10th and 11th). A science teacher at Holy Family Academy brings the wonders of creation alive through discussion-based classes and hands-on instruction. In addition, the science teacher oversees the Science Fair in collaboration with other faculty members. The science teacher must have strong communication skills and be able to help students to communicate scientific ideas in classroom presentations.

Employment begins in August 2017. Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS in Science/Mathematics, at least two years teaching experience, and be a practicing Roman Catholic.
