Youth
The youth of our diocese bring to our faith their gifts, energy, and fresh ideas. In order to nurture these gifts, we need to invite young people to participate in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
Here are some ways that the youth of our diocese can get involved and how we can keep those entrusted to our care safe in doing so.
Child Safety
The Diocese of Manchester is strongly committed to keeping children and youth safe in our parishes, schools, camps, institutions, and in the community at large. We strive unceasingly to protect those entrusted to our care and to heal the wounds of those who have been abused. Let's work together to keep our children safe.
Youth Ministry
Being active in Youth Ministry helps young people to know Christ and deepen their faith. For many, active involvement in Youth Ministry is the beginning of a lifelong partiicpation in the life, mission and work of the Church. Join our programs and activities.
Camps
What’s the best thing about camp? For kids, it’s all the awesome activities they can do and the friends they make. For parents, it’s seeing their kids gain confidence, get unplugged, and blossom under the careful guidance of great counselors. Have fun this summer at camp.
Scouting
Young people experience Scouting as a growth into personal maturity and social responsibility. Scouting builds character and teaches devotion to God in an environment that provides wholesome fun under the guidance of strong adult role models. The scouting programs provide a wonderful channel to involve youth in the life of Catholic parishes. Learn about the fun things Scouting has to offer you.
Catholic Youth Organization
CYO engages young people in an area of athletics and extends a welcoming hand to them into the life of the Church. Our community is strengthened by the presence and participation of our youth in CYO activities. See how CYO can help support your parish-based athletic programs.
