Confirmation

While Baptism is the gateway to all the other Sacraments, the Sacrament of Confirmation deepens our baptismal life with the strength of the Holy Spirit.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is conferred between the age of reason (7 years old) and about 16 years old. Adults who have not been baptized may receive it after going through a time of formation and discernment called RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Adults who have been baptized go through a different program, called Confirmation Preparation for Adults

If you are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation contact your local parish or the Office of Adult Faith Formation.
