Catholics in New Hampshire have many opportunities to advance the work of the Church. Please consider how you could make a difference by donating to the following efforts.
The Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund is a not-for-profit organization within the Catholic Church in New Hampshire that enables the Bishop of Manchester to make grants to not-for-profit organizations without regard to religious affiliation for projects that help people in New Hampshire meet their basic needs. The grants go to organizations in New Hampshire whose mission and operations are consistent with the mission of the Roman Catholic Church. Help us to serve our neighbors in need.
Through the Storm: Helping our Brothers and Sisters in the Caribbean
Through the Storm: Helping our Brothers and Sisters in the Caribbean was an initiative organized by Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, Bishop of Manchester, to support victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017. Through the Storm took place on April 5th, 2018 and focused on showing New Hampshire’s solidarity with parts of the Caribbean that are still suffering from the effects of the hurricanes and still need to rebuild and restore churches, homes, schools, and hospitals. Though we are no longer accepting donations, you can still learn more about this initiative.
Saint Casimir School Special Fund
If you’re looking to give to the former fund for St. Casimir School, please read about the unification of St. Casimir and St. Anthony School into Cardinal Lacroix Academy.
As one generation of priests is preparing to retire, our diocese is helping to educate the next generation. The annual Seminarian Collection is the primary source of that funding and 100% of every dollar goes toward supporting the education and formation of our young men studying for the priesthood. A gift of $100 would almost cover the cost of educating one seminarian for one day. Please help in the education and formation of our seminarians.
Priests Retirement Trust Fund
The Priests Retirement Trust Fund provides a monthly stipend and benefits to over fifty retired priests of our diocese. For many of these priests, this stipend is their only means of support. We are blessed that many retired priests continue to serve by celebrating Mass in parishes around the state. Although we have an annual appeal for the Priests Retirement Trust Fund, we are always accepting gifts. Please help our retired priests to continue to lead a life of dignity.
Catholic Communication Campaign
The Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) has been helping us spread the Gospel message locally and nationally on radio, television, in print, and on the Internet. It is only through donations from Catholic parishioners that the work of the CCC is possible. Half of all donations to the CCC collected in your diocese stay in your diocese to support your local communications needs. Help us to spread the Good News.
Parable is a gift from your parish and the Diocese of Manchester. It brings personal stories of faith to Catholics across New Hampshire. It is the only magazine that focuses both on your faith and your community. Parable needs your donation to continue spreading the Good News. Please give generously to support Parable.
