Administrative Assistant for Development & Communications and Catholic Faith Formation

Part-Time Music Minister Position
Sacred Heart Parish, Manchester, NH

Sacred Heart Parish seeks a part-time music minister who will help the faithful to participate actively in the Sacred Liturgy. Musical excellence is important, but an authentic spirit of service to Christ and His Church is essential. The primary purpose of music in the liturgy is to glorify God and help the congregation pray.

This musician will provide music for two weekend Masses, Christmas, Holy Days, Holy Week, and other agreed upon liturgies; meet regularly with the pastor; and choose music appropriate to the readings and season. Overnight Residential Support Staff (Sundays)
Hours: Sunday 5:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM

In this role, you will help provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for our residents and their babies during overnight hours. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, offering encouragement, and ensuring the well-being of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the safety and security of the residence throughout the shift.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and spend time engaging with mothers and their babies.
  • Provide emotional support and a listening ear when residents need someone to talk to.
  • Provide medications from a secured medication area according to established procedures.
  • Complete routine walk-throughs of the home to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Contact and collaborate with on-call staff when issues or concerns arise.
  • Respond appropriately and confidently during emergencies, including contacting 911 when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate communication and documentation related to overnight activities.

Qualifications:

  • Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable following medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
  • Experience working with women, families, or residential programs is preferred but not required.

Full-Time Funeral and Cemetery Service - Office Assistant
Parish of the Assumption, Dover, NH

We are hiring for this important position. It is an hourly paid position (31.5 hours per week) that coordinates funeral planning, daily cemetery operations, including the scheduling of burials in our two cemeteries, coordinating with funeral directors and clergy, maintaining accurate records, and data entry. The candidate will also communicate details to the cemetery grounds manager, and coordinate monument & memorial marker installations. This is a full-time, in office position, Monday through Friday with minimal travel.

Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm (lunch 12:30-1:00pm - unpaid)
Fridays: 8:30am - 12:00pm

This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and good computer skills. Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.

Business Manager & Full Charge Bookkeeper
Diocese of Manchester, Manchester, NH

The Business Manager & Full Charge Bookkeeper assists the Superintendent of Catholic Schools, building principals, and the Diocesan Director of Parish & School Financial Services in the day-to-day management of school finances, including full-charge bookkeeping services, and ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, implementation of internal financial controls, and administration of school finances, in compliance with Church law, civil law, and diocesan policies. This position requires developing proficiency using accounting software (ParishSoft), Student Management Platform (FACTS), and various Excel and other data recording and analytical programs. 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Cabinet Secretary for Temporalities, with a focus on St. John Regional School and Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH.
