Facilities Manager
St. Patrick Parish, Newport, NH

A part-time position as Facilities Manager is now available at St. Patrick Parish in Newport, New Hampshire. Twenty-five hours per week, the position entails the cleaning, maintenance, upkeep and security of the parish churches and the various other facilities and grounds. The applicant must be responsible and committed to keeping the parish grounds and facilities clean and attractive to preserve the image of the facility and to provide a suitable environment for staff, parishioners, students, and visitors. Knowledge of smaller maintenance repair jobs and the operation of various types of equipment is needed. Additionally, this position entails the responsibility for parish safety compliance as directed by the norms and regulations of the Diocese of Manchester. Associate General Counsel

The Diocese of Manchester seeks an Associate General Counsel to provide legal advice to the ministries of the Diocese. Requirements for this position include a minimum of a Juris Doctorate degree and current NH Bar membership; at least 5 years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporation, or government agency; and experience drafting leases and contracts, preparing trusts and estate documents, and providing legal advice and guidance regarding real estate and compliance matters. Due to the nature of this position, it is required that the incumbent have a general knowledge and understanding of Catholic teaching and be a practicing Roman Catholic who is registered and active in a parochial or religious community. Custodian
Parish of the Resurrection, Nashua, NH

The Parish of the Resurrection is actively seeking an experienced custodian to work 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. General building cleaning and maintenance, trash removal and occasional set-up and breakdown for parish events.

The candidate in this position is a vital member of the parish team and is expected to exercise some independent judgment and initiative in the performance of day-to-day responsibilities.

Musician/Accompanist
St. Patrick Parish, Pelham, NH

St. Patrick Parish in Pelham, NH seeks a keyboardist for our Saturday 4:00 pm Mass. The ideal candidate should have significant keyboard skills, ability to read music, vocal training, experience in a variety of musical styles, knowledge of traditional, classical and modern liturgical music, and the ability to collaborate with pastor, parish staff, cantors and choir. Organ is not currently in use, but may be in future.

Duties

  • Available for Saturday 4:00 pm Mass, accompanying practices and/or rehearsals, as well as some Holy Days
  • Choose appropriate Catholic hymnody and service music for Masses
  • Coordinate with and/or accompany special musicians as appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with choir, cantors, pastor and parish staff
