2022 Red Mass and Catholic Lawyers Guild Reception

Bishop Peter A. Libasci, the Catholic Lawyers Guild of New Hampshire, and members of the judicial, legal, and legislative communities gathered for the Red Mass on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester. The Red Mass is an annual opportunity for the judicial, legal, and legislative communities and those who administer law in the Church to pray for strength and guidance in the work they will undertake in the year ahead.

Saint Thomas More Award

Following the Red Mass, the Catholic Lawyers Guild hosted a reception at Bishop Bradley Hall at the Cathedral during which the Guild presented the 2022 St. Thomas More Award to Attorney Courtney Eschbach Wells of the New Hampshire General Court’s Office of Legislative Services.

The Saint Thomas More Award is presented to a lawyer or judge who is a practicing Catholic and who embodies the spirit of Saint Thomas More in his or her courage, dedication, integrity, civility, and compassion toward others.
