Diocesan Review Board

The Diocesan Review Board is an advisory body appointed by the bishop and established in accordance with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. Its functions include:

  • Advising the bishop in his assessment of the findings of preliminary investigations into allegations of sexual abuse of a minor by Church personnel;
  • Reviewing diocesan policies for dealing with sexual abuse and sexual exploitation; and
  • Conducting a regular compliance audit of the Office for Ministerial Conduct.
