Central Fund Trust

Welcome to the Diocese of Manchester Central Fund Trust (CFT) webpage. The CFT was established as a separate legal entity distinct from the Diocese of Manchester, and exits to hold deposits for the benefit of, and loan funds to, its Participants, for which the Diocese of Manchester itself is an excluded participant. Participants of the CFT include parishes, schools, camps, cemeteries, the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund, and other entities approved by the Trustee, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Manchester, a Corporation Sole.
