MISSIONARY SUPPORT ABROAD,
SUPPORT FOR MIGRANTS &
REFUGEES IN N.H.,
MULTICULTURAL MINISTRY
The NHCA supported The Good Samaritan
Home in Cartago, Colombia, run by Claire Aucoin
a New Hampshire native of Henniker. This home
serves the elderly in a region where their care
is often neglected. Also, a portion of the funds
supported diocesan ministries to migrants and
Bishop Libasci at Vietnamese Martyrs refugees throughout the state of New Hampshire
Mass, St. Christopher, Nashua in addition to supporting diocesan
multicultural ministry.
CATHOLIC EDUCATION
This year, the NHCA provided necessary support
to the system of Catholic schools so the mission
of affordability, accessibility, and availability will
advance. In 2022, enrollment in New Hampshire
Catholic schools increased for a third straight
year with growth now at its highest levels in more
than twelve years. The NHCA assists in funding
important school infrastructure improvements
and projects such as facility expansion, renovation,
and revitalization. Funds will also be used in
the areas of curriculum enhancements, financial
assistance, leadership investment, and improved Sacred Heart School, Hampton
compensation and benefits for faculty.
PARABLE MAGAZINE
Parable continues to be a key
in home evangelization tool for
Catholics in New Hampshire.
Parable was honored with six
awards by 2022 Catholic Media
Association of the United States
and Canada. In the summer
of 2023, Parable will be made
available to all parishioners at
no cost to their parishes.
