White Mass 2022

The 2022 White Mass was held at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester on Wednesday, April 20, 2023. At that time the New Hampshire Guild of Catholic Healthcare Professionals recognized Nancy Malo, the recipient of the 2022 St. Martin de Porres Award.

The St. Martin de Porres Award is awarded by the Guild to an individual who has exemplified the virtues of Catholic healthcare in her or his career as a healthcare professional.

Ms. Malo began her medical career as a respiratory therapist yet felt truly called by God to provide better instruction to families and couples around natural family planning. Her passion for correcting mistruths about NFP and enabling the faithful to understand its benefits led her to become Catholic Medical Center’s natural family planning instructor in 1983. For 37 years, Ms. Malo worked tirelessly to educate on the loving values of Catholic healthcare and embodied what is truly meant by protecting the dignity of every human person.
