Young Neighbors in Action 2019
Young Neighbors in Action is a Catholic week-long mission for high school teens, offering young people the chance to grow in faith as they serve those in need. It gives youth an opportunity to make a true difference in the world.
From July 21 - 26, teens from St.Elizabeth Seton Parish in Bedford, St. Michael Parish in Exeter, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish in Hampton, St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Manchester, St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Manchester, St. Anne Parish in Hampstead, and students from St.Thomas Aquinas and Trinity High School traveled down to Worcester, MA for this weeklong service trip.
The 2019 YNIA theme is “Called to Be Salt and Light.” Jesus challenges us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Just as salt can be the catalyst to ignite a flame, we are called to bring light and be light for others. When we serve those in need and show compassion and love, we give others hope for a brighter future.
