The Catholic Health Care Foundation of Greater Manchester has been established with proceeds from the sale of Catholic Medical Center (CMC) to HCA Healthcare. It works to improve health outcomes and access to high quality health care in accordance with the healing mission of Jesus Christ through its support of essential community programs. It is overseen by the Bishop of Manchester and a Board of Directors.
