V National Encuentro

For the V National Encuentro, the Diocese of Manchester was represented by a delegation headed by our Bishop, Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, and seven delegates, including Deacon Ramon Andrade, our Director of Multicultural Ministry, as well as parishioners of St. Anne - St Augustin in Manchester, NH, and St. Aloysius of Gonzaga in Nashua, NH.

Encuentro is a two-year process of missionary activity, consultation, leadership development, and pastoral discernment in parishes, dioceses, and episcopal regions, that all culminates with a national event. This event took place from September 20 - 23 in Texas. One of the primary desired outcomes of the Encuentro process is to discern pastoral practices and priorities to impact the quality of ministry among Hispanic/Latino Catholics, under the leadership of the U.S. bishops.

Photos of the local Diocesan Encuentro, which took place on February 17, 2018, are available here, and photos of the Regional Encuentro, which took place on March 10, 2018, are available here.
