Priesthood Ordination 2020

The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, Bishop of Manchester, ordained Reverend Ryan Amazeen and Reverend Joshua Livingston to the priesthood at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester on Saturday, June 6.

Bishop Libasci said, “It brings me great joy to know that, even in these difficult times, men continue to hear and answer the call to the priesthood in our diocese. I am grateful to those who have fostered the vocations of Fr. Amazeen and Fr. Livingston throughout their lives, and for their willingness to serve His people in New Hampshire.”

Fr. Amazeen is the son of Mr. Stephen and Mrs. Elaine Amazeen. A parishioner of Saint Pius X Parish, he grew up in Auburn, NH and attended Manchester’s Memorial High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Providence College, and attended Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts. He was vested at ordination by Reverend Monsignor Anthony Frontiero.

Fr. Livingston is the son of Mr. Vincent and Mrs. Roseanne Livingston. A parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Lebanon, NH, he grew up in Tyler Hill, PA and attended Honesdale High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and attended Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts. He was vested at ordination by Reverend Charles Pawlowski.

The Diocese of Manchester currently has 13 men preparing for the priesthood at seminaries in Brighton, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; Saint Meinrad, Indiana; Orchard Lake, Michigan; and Cromwell, Connecticut.
