All Welcome to Support First Responders at Blue Mass
MANCHESTER, NH, September 24, 2025 – The annual Blue Mass that honors first responders will be held Sunday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Cathedral on the corner of Pine and Lowell Streets. The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, will celebrate the Mass.
Police officers, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and dispatchers are invited to attend, dressed in uniform, and sit in the front half of the Cathedral with their families.
All are welcome to participate to pray for the safety of these public servants.
“The annual Blue Mass is an opportunity for the community to join together to honor and pray for our first responders, who sacrifice so much for our public safety,” said Gloria Zapiain, Cabinet Secretary for Catholic Formation, Diocese of Manchester.
A Manchester Fire Department truck will be parked on Pine Street during the Blue Mass.
