Bishop Libasci Ordains Priest in Diocese of Manchester

Bishop Libasci Ordains Priest in Diocese of Manchester 

MANCHESTER, NH, June 4, 2024 – The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, ordained Reverend Eric Ouellette to the priesthood at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester on June 1. 

“The Diocese of Manchester is grateful to God for the gift of Father Ouellette’s priesthood,” said Bishop Libasci. “He is following in the steps of Our Lord Jesus Christ to bring merciful love to the faithful in the form of the sacraments, most especially in the Eucharist, the Source and Summit of our Catholic Faith.”

Reverend Ouellette earned a Master of Arts degree in Catholic Philosophical Studies and a Master of Divinity degree from Saint Meinrad Seminary. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover. A native of Epping, he was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Joseph Parish.  

Reverend Ouellette celebrated his first Mass of Thanksgiving at Saint Joseph Parish in Epping on Sunday, June 2.
