New Executive Director Named at Camps Bernadette and Fatima
MANCHESTER, NH – The Board of Directors of Camp Bernadette and Camp Fatima, the only Roman Catholic, diocesan-affiliated summer camps in New England, has appointed Andrew Thibault of Manchester as Executive Director.
He will continue to serve as this summer’s Resident Director during the transition to this role. Since 2021, Thibault has also been the Camps’ Sales, Marketing, and Development Director. According to a joint statement from the Board of Directors, “During his tenure, [Thibault] has increased enrollment, enhanced alumni engagement, and improved fundraising efforts, including donor research and gift solicitation for the Camps’ first ever capital campaign.”
Thibault began his career as a construction industry recruiter for Resource Options, Inc. Previously, he held various summer positions at Camp Fatima, where he was a camper for many years.
“Andrew’s nearly lifelong involvement with the camps, his understanding of all aspects of their operations and his sincere dedication to ensuring their long-term success position him well for this important role,” said the Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester. “I am grateful to the diligence of the Board of Directors and its search committee for their thorough review process and ultimate selection of Andrew.”
Thibault is a graduate of Franciscan University and is currently pursuing a Catholic School Management Certificate from the Villanova School of Business. He is a parishioner of Saint Joseph Cathedral and serves on its Finance Council.
