Awarded Eight 2026 Catholic Media Honors

MANCHESTER, NH, July 1, 2026 – Parable Magazine, published by the Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, received five 2026 Catholic Media Awards during the recent Catholic Media Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Diocese of Manchester’s Communications team won three video and campaign awards. The competition recognizes excellence in Catholic media and communications in North America.

The magazine earned three first place awards: Bishop Libasci, Best Regular Column, Bishop’s Column in a Diocesan Magazine; Rev. Andrew Nelson, Best Regular Column, Religious Life for “7 Days a Pastor: Reflections from Father Andrew Nelson;” and Ann-Maria Contarino, Best Regular Column, Art, Leisure, Culture and Food for her book review column, “Cross Reference.”

Parable was also recognized with a third place award for Robert Dunn, Best Regular Column, Political Issues for his column, “Finding Communion” and an Honorable Mention for writer Katie Lovett, Best Reporting on Vocations to Priesthood, Religious or Diaconate.

The Diocese was awarded three Communications honors: First Place – Best Diocesan Pastoral Message – Audio or Visual, Jubilee 2025: NH Eucharistic Pilgrimage Save the Date Video by Bishop Libasci and Raul Botha; Third Place – Best Use of Video on Social Media – Ongoing Series – Diocesan and National News Organizations: “A Saint You Need to Know!” by Alana Babineau, Raul Botha and Tara Bishop; and Third Place – Best Initiative or Campaign – Hot Topic: the Jubilee Year: Jubilee 2025 NH Eucharistic Pilgrimage communications campaign by Bishop Libasci, Mother Mary Maximilian Cote, Sister Mary Fatima Pham, Tara Bishop, Angelina Lawrence, Raul Botha and Celia Heavisides.
