The 40th Bishop's Summer Reception to benefit the Bishop's Charitable Assistance Fund (BCAF) was a wonderful success! More than $160,000 has been raised to support the work of NH nonprofit organizations that help people meet basic needs.
The 2025 Vita et Caritas Award, given in memory of Ruthie Ford, was presented to Dick and Kay Doyle for their tireless dedication to the St. Jude Parish Food Pantry in Londonderry. They have served as the pantry's coordinators since it opened, over 40 years ago. They coordinate with the town and other groups, manage dozens of volunteers, organize the town’s Christmas Basket and Blue Angels (with the schools and other Londonderry churches), meet with clients, and communicate with parishioners about what the Food Pantry needs at any given time. Two generations of Doyles under them participate in all the Food Pantry efforts. They are all parishioners at St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.
