TASC Received $2,500 to Help Local Neighbors with Transportation

Pictured above: Volunteers from TASC help citizens with rides throughout the Seacoast.

TASC (Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens) was founded in 2006 and has been providing volunteer drivers for more than 45,000 rides to Seacoast residents in need of assistance. Eligible residents are age 55 or better or other adults with a disability or medical challenge that keeps them from driving.

A Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund $2,500 grant was provided to help expand their volunteer driver program to the town of East Kingston.
