SHARE Fund in Rochester Received $3,000 to Help Local Families
For over 25 years, the SHARE Fund in Rochester has been providing services to meet the basic needs of their most vulnerable community members. Starting as an outreach ministry of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, the SHARE Fun grew and expanded over the years to become an indispensable emergency resource for individuals and families experiencing crisis or severe hardship. In 2016, they developed a Community Diaper Bank and became a member of the National Diaper Bank network, which leads a national movement to safe guard one of the most basic needs of all babies and their families – access to clean, dry diapers.
A BCAF grant was provided to their Community Diaper Bank which distributes free diapers to low-income families with infants and toddlers to help keep our youngest residents clean, dry and healthy.
