Recognized New Hampshire Catholic institutions, such as diocesan parishes and schools, may submit to Parable Magazine news items, photographs, and calendar events. By submitting content to Parable, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
A number of pastors from around the diocese have joined together in a wonderful endeavor to share with their parishioners the healing, forgiving, caring, catechetical, spiritual and faith tradition of the church.
Parable is the Official Magazine of the Diocese of Manchester.
When the Lord Jesus revealed the truth about the Kingdom of God, he did so through the use of parables. In every parable he shared with us the healing, forgiving, and caring aspects of the Father’s great love for us. In imitating the Lord in this way, Parable is an instrument for the Diocese of Manchester to tell the Good News of Jesus Christ through the stories of the faithful in New Hampshire.
Parable looks at contemporary issues from a faith perspective. Parable Magazine teams with FAITH Catholic (www.faithmag.com) in Lansing, Michigan. The majority of the content is local and 5% is supplement material from FAITH Catholic including columns about family, work life, and parenting.
Reach: Bishop Peter A. Libasci is the publisher of Parable. His goal is to reach every registered Catholic in the Diocese of Manchester. Currently Parable reaches over 50,000 Catholic households from 50 parishes.
Sarah Jane von Haack, Editor
Sarah Jane received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Magdalen College in 2001. After graduating from college she worked at Magdalen from 2001 –2007 in public relations. She came to the Diocese of Manchester in February 2007.
