A Wonderful Life in Service of Others Ron Rioux is truly a modern-day George Bailey. Inspired by his parents’ virtues and aware of the great need of his neighbors, Ron found that he could make a difference in other people’s lives. In the early 1990s, Ron was hired to help turn around the fortunes of St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester, the first credit union in the nation. Now in 2008 he is preparing to retire.
