Worldwide Marriage Encounter is an enrichment experience for good Christian marriages, offering married couples an opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. (Couples of all faith expressions are always welcome!)
Most couples are busy with work and family. It seems that every moment of the day is planned and there’s never enough time to get everything done. When was the last time you had a weekend alone? Consider planning a weekend away just the two of you, to renew your marriage relationship. A Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend is a positive, renewing experience for couples that have a good marriage, but want to make it even better!
Both my husband and I use the same word to describe the Marriage Encounter Weekend we attended: transformative. We went into the weekend unsure how to get out of a frustrating communication rut we were caught in, doing the same things over and over and expecting different results.
Since our Weekend, my husband and I continue the very doable communication technique we learned on our Weekend almost every day and the intimacy we both so desperately missed from each other has returned to our very blessed marriage. We would not only recommend this weekend to any couple, we would issue a challenge: what are you waiting for?
The solution, hope, and renewal we found during our Weekend experience has bound my husband and me closer than we have ever been. Our cup overflows with gratitude for the opportunity to transform our marriage and we hope you take the same leap of faith!
