Mission Statement

The mission of the Diocese of Manchester School Board is to collaborate with the Catholic School Department to define the vision, and to promote and to sustain the mission of Catholic school education in the Diocese of Manchester.

Short Term Goal: To fully implement the new Constitution of the Diocesan School Board and to become and effective consultative body to the Bishop, the Secretary for Evangelization and Education and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools on matters concerning Catholic Schools.

Long Range Goal: To provide Catholic schools strategically located throughout the Diocese of Manchester. Our Catholic schools will not only be available to all but affordable to all. They will provide a challenging academic program, athletics and extracurricular activities in a spiritual environment to form each student with Gospel values. In all facets of the Catholic school, we will focus on teaching and modeling personal integrity, service, justice, and stewardship for the purpose of building the reign of God, which is the primary purpose for the existence of the Catholic school. Our schools will employ a sufficient number of believing men and women as ministers of education and they will provide employees with a fair and just wage and benefit package.
