    Called to Discipleship in Peterborough
Please post in your parish bulletin February, March and April.
When evaluating the Core Course participants said, “Some aspects of the faith were explained so that I grasped their meaning better. I enjoyed the positive, upbeat, and inquisitive attitude of the instructor and participants.”
The Called to Discipleship Program is made up of a 16 hour Core Course on Catholic beliefs, a Skills Formation Day and a Retreat. It is based on the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults and intended for catechists, lectors, RCIA teams, extraordinary ministers of Communion, cantors, administrative staff, and other adults seeking enrichment. Called to Discipleship will be offered at Divine Mercy Church Hall in Peterborough beginning May 8th. Visit www.catholicnh.org/layministry for schedule and registration brochure.

Called to Serve
In parishes, the Christian community joins together to breathe a continuous breath of new life in the Church. As more laity serve in the life and programs of the parish, they look for training and guidance to help them use their talents to the fullest.
For parishioners looking to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and to be formed for leadership, the diocese initiated two lay ministry formation programs in 2005, Called to Discipleship and Called to Servant Leadership.
Find us on Facebook.

Called to Discipleship

  • Would you like to learn more about your faith?
  • Are you a volunteer at your parish?
  • Would you like to be certified as a catechist?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Called to Discipleship is for you.

Called to Servant Leadership

  • Would you like to gain leadership skills in order to help your parish or Catholic school?
  • Would you benefit from learning in greater depth what the Church teaches?

Called to Servant Leadership may be right for you!

Called to Serve Webinar

Four alumni of the lay ministry formation program shared in a webinar how they are taking their Called to Servant Leadership studies to the field.
