I am Looking For:

Ecumenical & Interreligious Affairs

The Bishop of Manchester is responsible for the promotion of Gospel values for all persons in New Hampshire. This pastoral commitment includes a commitment to ecumenism (relationships among Christians) and interreligious affairs (relationships with religious traditions other than Christian). The bishop seeks to promote

  • Christian unity by fostering the exchange of information, common prayer, and appropriate ministries between the Diocese of Manchester and other Christian churches and ecclesial communities.
  • Interfaith relationships between the Diocese of Manchester and the Jewish community—our elder brothers and sisters in faith.
  • Interreligious dialogue with believers of other faith traditions as well.
