Chaplain
Catholic Medical Center

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a full-time Chaplain. Some of the essential functions include: Regularly visits with all patients, especially new admissions, while daily giving priority to referrals and those in greatest need. Provides sacramental ministry, religious counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate. Provides information about the availability of area clergy and makes contacts when requested. Ensures pastoral availability to families and staff in times of crisis. Establishes positive working relationships with all members of the health team as well as volunteers. Makes ethics consult referrals for patients, family and staff pursuant to the CMC Clinical Ethics Services policy. Participates in patient care conferences and discharge planning rounds. Participates in departmental quality management activities. Maintains statistical reports of activities and submits to the Director, Office of Catholic Identity. Documents patient’s visitations and logs interactions for interdepartmental communication. Ensures confidentiality of employee, physician, patient, legal, budgetary and other Catholic Medical Center matters. Director of Music
Parish of the Resurrection

Father Grace us currently accepting resumes for the position of Director of Music at our parish. We are looking for someone who is committed to Christ and the Church in their lives, has the skills and means to direct the music program, to direct choirs in the parish, and who is open to serving the parish community.

The requirements are as follows: can play the organ, piano and/or keyboard; is familiar with Catholic liturgical rites and practices; is open to working with a dedicated group of volunteer choir members; can direct and instruct cantors; can work with the parish staff and other ministers and ministries of the parish; can organize and plan weekly music for the parish; and can schedule cantors and musicians for the weekend and holy day liturgies. The director also ordinarily leads the music and choir at the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass, serves at weddings and funerals, and fills in when other music ministers are unavailable at the weekend liturgies.

Part-time Administrative Assistant
St. Aloysius Church, Nashua, NH

We are currently seeking a part-time administrative assistant to work in the rectory office, approximately 26 hours per week, handling all paperwork and questions related to faith formation programs and sacramental preparation as well as assisting with liturgical preparation and other special events. Candidates should enjoy working in a busy office environment, answering a variety of questions from parishioners and volunteers; both in person and on the phone. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and very good organizational skills required. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Contemporary Music Leader/Minister
Saints Mary and Joseph Parish in Salem, NH

Saints Mary and Joseph Parish in Salem, N.H., seeks to hire a music leader/minister for the parish’s new 9:30 a.m. contemporary music Mass at the parish’s Lawrence Road church, Mary, Queen of Peace.

Candidates should have an understanding and appreciation for the liturgy of the Catholic Church and the role of music in communal prayer. In consultation with the pastoral staff and taking into account homily themes, he/she should be able to select music appropriate to the Scriptural and seasonal themes of the Sunday Mass. We are especially interested in a leader who possesses the versatility to incorporate various styles and genres of music, as appropriate: “praise” music, contemporary hymnody, chant, etc.

The position requires competency in both vocals and either guitar or keyboard. The minister will be asked to recruit and lead a group of volunteer musicians and singers for this 9:30 a.m. Mass, including setting up a regular rehearsal time; he/she should also be able to teach and lead the congregation, enabling them to participate in singing the liturgy to the full.

Resumes will be accepted through the month of July. Interviews will be scheduled with qualified candidates during the month of August. We hope to have the leader in place by early September.
