The Diocese of Manchester NH is looking for a Director of Parish Faith Formation to provide leadership for the ongoing development and support of programs and services for Parish Faith Formation, Grades 1-12 and to serve as resource person to the Catholic School office regarding the teaching of Religion. This position provides services and programs for catechetical leaders who provide faith formation in parishes. The director works in collaboration with the Director of Lay Ministry Formation and the Director of Youth Ministry as well as with parishes and all other related diocesan agencies and institutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree or equivalent in Theology (preference for sacramental), Religious Education, or related field, plus 4 –7 years of related experience in Parish Faith Formation; deep faith and personal commitment to the life of the Church, and a desire to teach and communicate this with others; must be proficient in written and oral communication.

Saint Pius X Parish is looking to hire a part time music director. The job requires the person to be available to play on weekends at the 4 PM Mass on Saturdays and the 8 AM and 10 AM Masses on Sundays. The position also requires that one have the skills to lead and direct an adult choir at the 10 AM Mass. The person must also be available for funerals, weddings and other parish functions throughout the year such as Holy Days of Obligation, Ash Wednesday Masses, All Souls Day Mass, Thanksgiving Day Mass, Holy Week Services, Advent and Lenten evening prayer and Friday Stations of the Cross during Lent. In addition to these requirements the person must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Liturgical Music or equivalent (Masters preferred), Strong skills as an organist, including experience with mechanical action organs, the ability to improvise short passages of music during the Liturgy, Experience with Roman Catholic Liturgy, including the Divine Office, Excellent skills in nurturing all volunteer choirs and singers. Salary will be based on level of skill and experience.
