Part–Time Assistant to Director of Religious Education
Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish, Londonderry, NH

The Assistant to the D. R. E. will be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church who will share faith and the Roman Catholic tradition with students (Gr l—10) by collaborating with and assisting the D. R. E. as described below.

In this ministry, the assistant will be responsible:

Ultimately: To the pastor of Saint Mark the Evangelist
Immediately: To the Director of Religious Education of Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish
Mediately: To the parents and parishioners of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish

Duties:

  • To electronically record registrations and attendance requirements
  • To copy teachers curricula
  • To substitute teach in absence of regular teachers
  • To remind teachers of meetings, etc.
  • To coordinate volunteers and Confirmation students, most often during the summer program
  • To check classroom supplies and replenish as needed
  • To assist with teacher meetings
  • To input and copy the weekly lesson schedules for grades 1—8 for summer and school-year programs

Confirmation program:

  • To track and record requirements for students electronically
  • To assist with monthly 9th and 10th grade Confirmation meetings on Sunday evenings 2x monthly (Oct.—April)
  • To assist with the NET retreat days—2x/year
  • Coordinate Confirmation students to assist with parish groups in need of volunteers
  • To assist with parent meetings, including copying and collating information packets
  • To print and review sign-up sheets for community service

Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry – Full Time

Responsible for overseeing the Parish’s religious education programs from kindergarten through sophomore year in high school. This includes the preparation of students for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. The candidate will also be responsible for curriculum development and implementation of the Religious Education programs as well as formation of teachers for these programs. Responsible for beginning and conducting a youth ministry program for middle and high school age youth.

Music Minister

Three Registered Nurses - 8-Week Camping Season
Camp Bernadette, Wolfeboro, NH

Camp Bernadette is currently seeking three registered nurses for an 8 week camping season and one week of staff training from June 21-August 22. Applicants must have a New Hampshire license or compact license valid for New Hampshire, a background in working with children, and a willingness to work with others.

Duties include arrival screenings, dispensing of daily medications, handling medical emergencies and first aid, and scheduling doctor's appointments when needed.

We offer a competitive salary, on-camp housing, meals, and laundry. Staff children between the ages of 6-15 receive free tuition during the period of employment at either Camp Bernadette, or our brother camp, Camp Fatima.

Catholic Medical Center

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a full-time Chaplain. Some of the essential functions include: Regularly visits with all patients, especially new admissions, while daily giving priority to referrals and those in greatest need. Provides sacramental ministry, religious counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate. Provides information about the availability of area clergy and makes contacts when requested. Ensures pastoral availability to families and staff in times of crisis. Establishes positive working relationships with all members of the health team as well as volunteers. Makes ethics consult referrals for patients, family and staff pursuant to the CMC Clinical Ethics Services policy. Participates in patient care conferences and discharge planning rounds. Participates in departmental quality management activities. Maintains statistical reports of activities and submits to the Director, Office of Catholic Identity.
